What stays on your device

Tilvo has no account. Your reading position, liked ayahs, notes, streak, reading plan, reminder choice and settings are stored only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. We do not receive them.

Content requests

The Quran text and translations are bundled in the app. When you play a recitation or open a tafsir, the app requests that content over HTTPS:

• Recitation audio, word timings and some tafsir come from Quran Foundation through a proxy operated by MissingLayer B.V. on Cloudflare (kevser.app). The request names only the ayah and the resource, not you.
• Other tafsir and spoken translations come directly from QuranEnc (quranenc.com).

Like any internet request, each service can see your IP address and the time of the request. We do not combine these with anything else, and we do not use them to identify you.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not see your payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Tilvo schedules reminders locally on your iPhone (for example, before your free trial ends). They are not sent through our servers.

Analytics, tracking and advertising

This version of Tilvo sends no usage analytics, contains no advertising, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

Tilvo is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. You can still contact us at the address above with any question.

Changes

If a future version changes what is described here, we will update this page and the date above before releasing it.
